When Canada Life wanted to develop a new type of investment fund aimed at people nearing retirement we helped them examine not just the mechanics of how people invest but also the emotional needs that drive investment decisions later in life. Our qualitative sessions with consumers and intermediaries helped explore what type of protected investment products would be potentially appealing whilst larger scale conjoint analysis enabled us to drill down on the product ideas that would resonate most strongly with the target audience.
